Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2000 🢒 Century 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 3.1L (LG8) 🢒 Air Filter Element Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Disconnect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  4. Loosen the air intake duct/MAF sensor hose clamps.
  5. Remove the air intake duct/MAF sensor assembly.
  6. Carefully remove the air inlet hose from the throttle body and air cleaner cover.
  7. Remove the 2 housing cover retaining clamps.

    8. Object Number: 444460 Size: SH
  8. Remove the air cleaner cover (5) and carefully remove the air filter element (6).
  9. Inspect the housing cover (4), seal assembly, and air duct (2) for damage. If a problem is found, replace as necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 444460 Size: SH
  1. Carefully install the air filter element (6) into the air cleaner assembly (1).
  2. Install the housing cover and reinstall the housing cover retaining screws.
  3. Carefully Install the air inlet hose to the throttle body and air cleaner cover.
  4. Tighten the air inlet hose clamp.
  5. Install the air intake duct/MAF sensor assembly.
  6. Tighten the air intake duct/MAF sensor hose clamps.
  7. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  8. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
