Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  2. Remove the right instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  3. Remove the right side front and rear carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement and to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  5. Pull back the carpet in order to gain access to the antenna coaxial extension cable.
  6. Pull back the right side rear compartment trim for access to the antenna coaxial extension cable. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.

    7. Object Number: 676124 Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the rear antenna coaxial extension cable from the fixed antenna, if equipped.

    8. Object Number: 676118 Size: SH
  8. Cut off all the rear end of the rear coaxial antenna extension cable.

    9. Object Number: 676170 Size: SH
  9. Disconnect the front of the rear antenna coaxial extension cable from the front coaxial cable.

    10. Object Number: 362094 Size: SH
  10. Cut off the end of the front of the rear coaxial antenna extension cable.

    11. Object Number: 362094 Size: SH
  11. Cut off all the ends of the coaxial antenna extension cable from the instrument panel wiring harness.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 326091 Size: SH
  1. Position the front antenna coaxial extension cable to the instrument panel wiring harness and tape the antenna coaxial extension cable to the wiring harness at least every 150 mm (6 in) using electrical tape.
  2. Connect the front antenna coaxial extension cable to the radio.
  3. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .

  4. Position the rear antenna coaxial extension cable to the body wiring harness and tape the antenna coaxial extension cable to the body wiring harness at least every 150 mm (6 in) using electrical tape.

    5. Object Number: 676170 Size: SH
  5. Connect the rear antenna coaxial extension cable to the front antenna coaxial extension cable.

    6. Object Number: 676118 Size: SH
  6. Connect the rear antenna coaxial extension cable to the rear antenna.
  7. Reposition the right side rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
  8. Reposition the right side carpet.
  9. Install the right side front and rear carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement and to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  10. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  11. Install the right instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
