Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2000 🢒 Century 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console 🢒 Mode Valve Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console.

    2. Object Number: 295281 Size: SH
  2. Remove the instrument panel driver knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the vacuum lines from the mode actuator.

    4. Object Number: 295288 Size: SH
  4. Carefully rotate the mode actuator towards the front of the vehicle until the actuator is released from the mounting pins on the HVAC control module.

    5. Object Number: 295292 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the vacuum actuator pushrod from the mode door lever and remove the actuator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 295292 Size: SH
  1. Connect the vacuum actuator pushrod from the mode door lever and position the actuator.

    2. Object Number: 295288 Size: SH
  2. Carefully rotate the mode actuator towards the rear of the vehicle until the actuator is engaged on the mounting pins on the HVAC control module.

    3. Object Number: 295281 Size: SH
  3. Install the instrument panel driver knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console.
  4. Install the left side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console.
