LOOSE DOOR WINDOW SWITCH PLATE REPAIR PROCEDURE

MODELS AFFECTED: ALL 1985 "C" STYLES

NOTICE: This bulletin supersedes 85-9-7A, dated March, 1985. Change made in recommended materials.

If a condition is encountered where the door window switch plate escutcheon comes loose from the switch plate base, it may be repaired as follows:

1. Using 3M-8984, or equivalent solvent, thoroughly clean cementing surfaces.

2. Using 3M-8101 structural adhesive, Loctite Quick Jel (SGGA) or equivalents, recement escutcheon to switch plate base. Follow manufacturer's label directions for bonding.
