Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 428505 Size: SH
  1. Remove the IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
  2. Remove the IP cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
  3. Release the 4 IP cluster pins. Pull the cluster rearward.
  4. Depress the steering column closeout shroud in order to gain enough clearance in order to remove the IP cluster.
  5. Tilt the lower end of the IP cluster rearward, over the steering column closeout shroud in order to remove.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 428505 Size: SH
  1. Align the upper portion of the IP cluster to the IP cluster opening.
  2. Rock the lower portion of the IP cluster over the steering column closeout shroud in order to fit the IP cluster into the opening.
  3. Align the IP cluster pins to the corresponding openings in the retainer.
  4. Press in the cluster in order to secure. There will be an audible snap when the cluster is fully seated.
  5. Install the IP cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
