Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
  2. Lower the front door window.

    3. Object Number: 428684 Size: SH
  3. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip from the door pinchweld flange.
    4. 3.1. Lift upwards, starting at the rear, in order to disengage the sealing strip clips.
    3.2. Slide the sealing strip rearward in order to clear the upper auxiliary molding.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 428684 Size: SH
  1. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip to the pinchweld flange.
    2. 1.1. Align the sealing strip to the door.
    1.2. Slide the strip forward and under the upper auxiliary molding.
    1.3. Ensure that the end cap is flush to the door cutline.
    1.4. Rotate the sealing strip downward.
    1.5. Align the sealing strip clips to the slots in the door pinchweld flange.
    1.6. Push the sealing strip down in order to fully seat and secure to the door pinchweld flange.
  2. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
  3. Raise the front door window.
