Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 247100 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the HVAC air filter access cover (1).

    3. Object Number: 247105 Size: SH
  3. Pull out the first filter using the filter tab. The filters will bend to allow clearance of the accelerator pedal.
  4. Pull out the second filter using the filter tab.
  5. Pull out the third filter using the filter tab.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 247105 Size: SH

    Important: When you install the filter, ensure that the filter does not become dislodged from the channel inside the HVAC module.

  1. Install the first filter in the case. Use the tab and a long, thin-bladed screwdriver to raise the filter parallel with the HVAC module. Ensure that the leading edge catches on the holding rib.
  2. Engage the second filter in the tab of the first filter. Slide the second filter into the remaining channels of the first filter.
  3. Use the tab to raise the filter parallel to the HVAC module. Ensure that the leading edge catches on the holding rib.
  4. Engage the third filter in the tab of the first filter. Slide the third filter into the remaining channels of the second filter.
  5. Fold the second filter tab down. Fold the third filter tab up and over the second filter.

  6. Install the HVAC air filter cover (1).
  7. Install the left sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
