Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the trim panel from the endgate. Refer to Endgate Trim Panel Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1229154 Size: SH
  2. Remove the screws (2) retaining the rear body control module (BCM) (1) to the endgate.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear BCM.
  4. Remove the module from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1229154 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear BCM (1) to the endgate.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the module.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the screws (2) retaining the rear BCM to the endgate.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear BCM screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  4. Install the trim panel to the endgate. Refer to Endgate Trim Panel Replacement.
  5. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
