Perform the Audible Warnings System Check before processing.

Is the system check complete?

Go to Audible Warnings System Check

1. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
2. Disconnect the body control module (mall) connector C2.
3. Measure the resistance from connector C2 terminal D2 to ground.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Replace the mall module.

Is the repair complete?

Does the keyless entry work?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Keyless Entry for Diagnosis

Inspect CKT 653 (DK BLU/WHT) for an open.

Is the circuit OK?

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 6

1. Disconnect the remote function actuator (RFA) modul
2. Measure the voltage from terminal E9 (harness side) to ground.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 7

Inspect the RFA module connector for proper terminal contact.

Is the contact OK?

Go to Step 8

Replace the RFA module.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Audible Warnings System Check

--

1. Inspect CKT 80 (LT GRN) for a short to ground.
2. Inspect the ignition key warning switch for a short to ground.

Is the wiring OK?

Go to Step 10

Repair the open.

Is the repair complete?
