1. Close all of the doors.
2. Lock the left front door or the right front door.
3. Operate the left front door handle or the right front door handle.

The interior lights illuminate.

Press the transmitter (key fob) unlock button.

The left front door unlocks.

The left front door does not unlock. Refer to Remote Keyless Entry System Check in Keyless Entry

1. Open either front door window.
2. Close the door.
3. Press the power door lock switch.

1. The SECURITY indicator illuminates for 30 seconds.
2. The CTD system arms.

Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) Alarm Mode Inoperative

1. After 1 minute, use the mechanical lock/unlock lever in order to unlock the left front door or the right front door.
2. Open the left front door or the right front door.

The horns and the exterior lights cycle on and off. The lights cycle approximately once per second for 3-7 minutes. The content theft deterrent (CTD) system is in the alarm mode.

Use the key to unlock the left front door or the right front door within 3 minutes, after the CTD system enters the alarm mode.

The horns and the exterior lights stop cycling on and off. The CTD is in the standby mode.

Press the remote keyless entry transmitter (key fob) unlock button within 3 minutes, after the CTD system enters the alarm mode.

The horns and the exterior lights stop cycling on and off. The CTD is in the standby mode.

The CTD does not enter the standby mode. Refer to Remote Keyless Entry System Check in Keyless Entry
