Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Remove the oil pan drain plug.

    4. Object Number: 187086 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil filter.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 187086 Size: SH
  1. Lubricate the oil filter gasket with clean engine oil and install the oil filter.

    2. Tighten the filter to one turn after gasket contact.

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the oil pan drain bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pan drain bolt to 26 N·m (19 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
  4. Fill the engine with oil to the appropriate mark.
  5. Start engine and inspect for leaks.
