For 1990-2009 cars only
Removal Procedure
- Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
- Drain the washer solvent into a suitable container.
- Disconnect the headlamp washer hose (1) quick connect (3) from the washer pump nozzle located on the inboard side of the washer solvent reservoir.
- Disconnect the 2 retainers securing the front air baffles to the front impact bar.
- Disconnect the headlamp washer hose quick connects from the headlamp washer nozzles located on the bottom side of the headlamps.
- Disconnect the 2 washer hose clips (2,3) from the main body electrical harness.
- Remove the washer hose assembly (4) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Position the washer hose assembly (4) to the main body electrical harness.
- Secure the washer hose clips (2,3) to the electrical main body harness.
- Secure the headlamp washer hose quick connects to both headlamp washer nozzles.
- Reposition and secure the front air baffles to the front impact bar.
- Secure the washer hose quick connect (3) to the headlamp washer pump nozzle.
- Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
- Fill the reservoir with washer solvent.
- Verify the operation of the headlamp washers.
