Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 738140 Size: SH
  1. Remove the lower air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.

    2. Object Number: 784588 Size: SH
  2. Drain the washer solvent container into a suitable container.
  3. Disconnect the washer hose (2) from the washer pump (5).
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the washer pump.
  5. Remove the washer pump (5) from the washer solvent container.
  6. Remove the washer pump filter grommet (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 784588 Size: SH
  1. Lubricate the washer pump filter grommet (3) with clean water to aid in the installation of the washer pump grommet (3) into the washer container.
  2. Install the washer pump (5) in the washer solvent container (4).
  3. Apply inward pressure to seat the pump.
  4. Ensure the washer pump is secure to the washer solvent container.
  5. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the washer pump.
  6. Connect the washer hose (2) to the washer pump.

    7. Object Number: 738140 Size: SH
  7. Install the lower air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
  8. Open the hood.
  9. Fill the washer solvent container.
  10. Close the hood.
  11. Verify the operation of the pump wash system.
