Windshield Upper Reveal Molding is Loose or Wavy (Replace Molding)

Some customers may comment that the windshield upper reveal molding is loose or wavy.

The urethane may have come loose between the molding and the windshield.

1. Remove the old molding.
2. Clean the windshield.
3. Remove any urethane that might hold up the molding.
4. Prime the glass and let dry.



5. Apply a small bead of urethane in the molding. Refer to the illustration above.
6. Install the new molding
7. Tape the molding in place for 24 hours to let the urethane cure.
