Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 2.8L (LP1) engine or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.6L (LY7) engine.
  2. Remove the power steering pump drive belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement for the 2.8L (LP1) engine or Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement for the 3.6L (LY7) engine.

Pulley, Power Steering Pump

Important: Ensure that the axial tolerance of the power steering pulley on the power steering pump is within 0.25 mm (0.010 in).

Tip

  1. Using the J 25034-C , remove the power steering pump pulley.
  2. Using the J 25033-C , install the power steering pump pulley.
