Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
2. Remove the front seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .

Push on Nut

Tip
Cut off to remove and replace with new nut.

Front Seat Back Cushion Frame Cross Bar

Procedure

1. Clamp the lower seat back frame so that the seat back does not move while replacing the recliner actuator.
2. Using a hammer and brass punch tap the bar out far enough to release from the recliner actuator motor.
