1	Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Assembly Caution: To prevent component damage, DO NOT use metal tools to remove the trim. Procedure Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retaining clips securing the trim plate applique to the instrument panel.

Caution: Be sure to follow the service procedure when removing the trim panel. Failure to follow service procedure may cause damage to the trim panel. Procedure Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the seven retaining clips securing the trim plate applique to the instrument panel. Starting at the upper inboard corner, release the first retainer clip securing the applique to the instrument panel, then work outward releasing the remaining six retaining clips.
