Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.
2. Remove the front seat outer adjuster front finish cover. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Outer Adjuster Front Finish Cover Replacement.

Seat Cushion Assembly Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Procedure

1. Disengage the seat cushion cover push pin retainers from the seat cushion frame crossmember.
2. Disconnect the j-channel retainers from the seat cushion frame, pulling back the seat cover to gain access to the bolts.

Seat Cushion Assembly

Procedure

1. Disconnect the fan assemblies from the seat cushion pad.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors that attach to the seat cushion, if equipped.
3. Remove the seat cushion assembly from the seat cushion frame.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.
2. Remove the front seat adjuster switch bezel. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Adjuster Switch Bezel Replacement.
3. Remove the front seat inner recliner finish cover. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Inner Recliner Finish Cover Replacement.
4. Remove the front seat recliner handle bezel bracket. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Bezel Bracket Replacement.

Seat Cushion Cover

Procedure

1. Disengage the J-channel retainers from the seat cushion frame.
2. Disconnect the blower from the seat cushion pad.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors that attach to the seat cushion, if equipped.
4. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame as an assembly.
5. Pull the cover away from the pad to disengage the retainers.

Front Seat Cushion Heater, If Equipped

Procedure

Remove the seat cushion heater from the seat cushion pad by sliding it through the seat cushion pad.
