Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the center pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement.

Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel

Procedure

1. Disengage the seat belt strap from the trim.
2. Verify the headliner is between the tab and the top of the center pillar trim.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
3 N·m (27 lb in)
