Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2000 🢒 Catera 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning 🢒 Heater Water Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  3. Remove the intake plenum. Refer to Intake Plenum Replacement in Engine Mechanical.

    4. Object Number: 153285 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the vacuum line from the heater water valve.
  5. Disconnect the outlet heater hose clamp.
  6. Disconnect the outlet heater hose from the heater water valve.
  7. Disconnect the electric circulation pump inlet hose clamp.
  8. Disconnect the electric circulation pump inlet hose from the heater water valve.
  9. Disconnect the water cross over hose clamp.
  10. Disconnect the water cross over hose from the heater water valve.
  11. Remove the heater water valve.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 309505 Size: SH
  1. Discard the green assembly marker (1) if attached to the heater hose.

    2. Object Number: 153285 Size: SH
  2. Install the heater water valve.
  3. Connect the water cross over hose to the heater water valve.
  4. Connect the water cross over hose clamp.
  5. Connect the electric circulation pump inlet hose to the heater water valve.
  6. Connect the electric circulation hose clamp.
  7. Connect the outlet heater hose to the heater water valve.
  8. Connect the outlet heater hose clamp.
  9. Connect the vacuum line to the heater water valve.
  10. Install the intake plenum. Refer to Intake Plenum Replacement in Engine Mechanical.
  11. Install the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  12. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
