Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

1. Disconnect engine control module (ECM) connector C2.
2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.

Is the FUEL CAP lamp illuminated?

Test the control circuit of the fuel cap indicator for a short to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Replace the ECM. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement/Programming .

Did you complete the replacement?

Replace the IPC. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
