Important: The rear differential bushings are pressed out from the inside. Once the rear differential bushings are removed they are not reusable.
| 5.1. | Install the J 21474-5 Bushing Receiver onto the J 21474-19 3/8-inch bolt. |
| 5.2. | Insert the assembly through the bushing from the outside of the bushing. |
| 5.3. | Install the J 42112-4 Bushing Driver/Remover onto the J 21474-19 3/8-inch bolt. |
| 5.4. | Install the J 21474-18 3/8-inch nut onto the J 21474-19 3/8-inch bolt. |
| 2.1. | Fit the J 21474-5 Bushing Receiver onto the J 21474-19 3/8-inch bolt. |
| 2.2. | Insert the above assembly through the bushing bore from the inside outward. |
| 2.3. | Position the bushing onto the J 21474-19 3/8-inch bolt. |
| 2.4. | Position the bushing into the bushing bore. |
| 2.5. | Install the J 42112-5 Bushing Driver/Installer onto the J 21474-19 3/8-inch bolt. |
| 2.6. | Install the J 21474-18 3/8-inch nut onto the J 21474-19 3/8-inch bolt. |
| 2.7. | Draw the bushing into the bore with the correct orientation by holding the J 21474-18 3/8-inch nut stationary while tightening the J 21474-19 3/8-inch bolt. |
| 2.8. | The bushing is positioned when the J 42112-5 Bushing Driver/Installer bottoms on the rear cross-member. |
