1. Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

Plug, Nut Access

Tip
Use a plastic flat-bladed tool to remove the plug.

Nut, Front Side Door Outside Handle (Qty: 2)

Tip
Release the handle and lock rod from the door lock.

Tighten
7 N·m (62 lb in)

Handle, Front Door Outside

Tip

1. Remove to outside door handle with the rod attached.
2. Transfer the handle rod to the new handle.
