  1. Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position.
  2. Place the turn/hazard switch in the OFF position.

All of the exterior lamps are OFF.

Park Lamps Always On

Place the headlamp switch in the PARK position.

All of the exterior lamps are ON (except for the headlamps).
    •  Park Lamps Inoperative

Place the headlamp switch in the HEAD position.

All of the exterior lamps are ON.

Headlight System Check

Press the hazard switch.

The front and rear turn lamps flash continuously from OFF to ON.

Hazard Lamps Inoperative

  1. Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position.
  2. Release the hazard switch.
  3. Depress the brake pedal.
    • On domestic vehicles, the rear turn lamps and the center high mounted stoplamp light.
    • On export vehicles, the stoplamps and the high mounted stoplamps light.

Stop Lamps Inoperative

  1. Release the brake pedal.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Place the turn switch in the LEFT TURN position.
  4. Place the turn switch in the RIGHT TURN position.
    • The respective turn lamps flash continuously ON and OFF.
    • The respective cornering lamp lights.
    • On the DeVille export, the respective front park lamps turn OFF.

Turn Signal Lamps Inoperative
