  1. Turn the ignition ON.
  2. Turn the rear defogger switch ON.
    • The indicator light on the rear defogger switch illuminates.
    • The rear defogger is operational.
    • The indicator light does not illuminate.
    • The defogger does not operate. Refer to Defoggers and Heated Mirrors Inoperative .

Turn the ignition to the RUN position.
    • The indicator light on the rear defogger switch illuminates and the rear defogger operates.
    • The indicator light turns off and the rear defogger does not operate after a 5-10 minute cycled time period.
    • The indicator light is on.
    • The rear defogger is operating and continues after approximately 11 minutes. Refer to Defoggers and Heated Mirrors Always On .
