1. Connect a scan tool to the data link connector (DLC).
2. Inspect the IPC input fog lamps switch.

Does the fog lamps switch operate properly?

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
2. Remove the fog lamp relay from the underhood relay center.
3. Measure the voltage to ground at the fog lamp relay connector terminal C6 (PNK) and terminal D6 (ORN).

Is battery voltage measured at both of the terminals?

1. Turn the fog lamp switch to the ON position.
2. Measure the voltage between the fog lamp relay connector terminal C6 (PNK) and terminal D4 (DK GRN/WHT).

Is battery voltage measured?

Connect a fused jumper between the fog lamp relay connector terminal D6 (ORN) and terminal C4 (PPL).

Do the front fog lamps turn on?

Replace the fog lamp relay.

Is the repair complete?

1. Disconnect the headlamp switch connector C1.
2. Connect a fused jumper between the headlamp switch connector C1 terminal G (ORN) and ground.

Is the IPC input fog lamps switch on?

Inspect CKT 151 (BLK/WHT) for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 151 OK?

Repair the open in CKT 192 (ORN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Inspect CKT 1317 (DK GRN/WHT) for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 1317 OK?

Repair the open in CKT 34 (PPL) between S106 and the underhood relay center. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the headlamp switch. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement in Lighting Systems.

Is the headlamp switch replacement complete?

Replace the body control module (PZM). Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control Systems.

Is the body control module replacement complete?

Repair the suspect wiring. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Operate the system in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition?
