Preliminary Procedure

Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.

Liftgate Trim Upper - Pushpin (Qty: 2)

Tip
To remove the pushpins, open the liftgate glass.

Liftgate Window Latch Screw (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
LOOSEN the screws using the TORX head end. Remove the latch using the key holes in the liftgate panel. Bolts are left hand thread.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Disconnect the electrical connector.
