Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1402000 Size: SH
  1. Remove the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
  2. Remove the cardboard backer from the seat back frame.
    3. 2.1. Use a razor blade, cut the adhesive securing the seat back foam to the cardboard.
    2.2. Lift the foam back foam over the head restraint tubes in the seat back frame.
    2.3. Remove the push-pin fasteners (1) securing the blower duct to the cardboard backer (2).
    2.4. Remove the cardboard backer from the seat back frame.

  3. Remove the filter (2) from the ventilation heat and cool blower.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1318418 Size: SH
  1. Install the filter (2) to the ventilation heat and cool blower.

    2. Object Number: 1402000 Size: SH
  2. Install the seat back cardboard panel.
    3. 2.1. Position the cardboard backer to the seat back frame.
    2.2. Install the push-pin fasteners (1) to secure the ventilation heat and cool blower duct.
    2.3. Position the seat back foam over the head restraint tubes.
    2.4. Glue the seat back foam in the same locations as it was removed during the removal process.
  3. Install the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
