Tip
Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, install the bearing until the bearing bottoms against the spacer. |

| Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Front Bearing Assembly
Tip
Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, install the bearing until the bearing bottoms on the front output shaft. |

| Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Hole Plug
Tip
| • | Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, remove the front output shaft hole plug by going through the front of the front output shaft. |
| • | Install the plug using the large side of the
DT-48212 bearing installer
. |
| • | Press the plug until the tool bottoms on the front output shaft. |
