Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement.
2. Remove the front seat switch trim panel assembly. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement.
3. Recalibrate SIR passenger presence system. After any parts of seat cushion or passenger presence system is removed, refer to Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module Programming and Setup.

Front Seat Frame Retaining Nut (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
9  N·m(80 lb in)

Front Seat Cushion Cover

Procedure:

1. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the seat cushion.
2. Loose J-channel retainer and two side clips. Remove the front seat cushion cover. Notice the alignment of the cover and the seat cushion when installing the seat cushion cover.

Front Seat Blower Retaining Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten
3N·m(25 lb in)

Tip
Remove the blower from heater directly.

Front Seat Heater

Tip
Thread the heater through the front seat cushion frame and pad, separate the heater from the front seat cushion and pad.
