Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1201072 Size: SH
  1. Remove the cross vehicle brace, if necessary. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement .
  2. Clean the fuel injector sight shield at the power steering and engine oil fill cap locations.
  3. Remove the power steering and engine oil fill caps.
  4. Lift the sight shield up from the front and pull forward to disengage the rear tab from the bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1201072 Size: SH
  1. Align the rear tab with the slot in the rear bracket and push the sight shield inward to engage.
  2. Push the sight shield down and align the ball studs on the engine with the holes in the sight shield.
  3. Install the power steering and engine oil fill caps.
  4. Install the cross vehicle brace, if necessary. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement .
