Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Number 2 Folding Seat Replacement .
  2. Lay the seat down on the seat back.

    3. Object Number: 1260911 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the J-channel retainers (1) from the sides of the seat cover.

    4. Object Number: 1260914 Size: SH
  4. Remove the seat cover (1) from the seat bottom.

    5. Object Number: 1260928 Size: SH
  5. Remove the recliner motor screws (1) from the seat frame.

    6. Object Number: 1261000 Size: SH
  6. Remove the screws from the horizontal motor (1).

    7. Object Number: 1261003 Size: SH
  7. Remove the seat frame bolts (1).
  8. Remove the seat frame.

Installation Procedure
  1. Place the seat frame onto the seat adjuster.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1261003 Size: SH
  2. Install the seat frame retaining bolts (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1261000 Size: SH
  3. Install the horizontal motor (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the horizontal motor screws to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  4. Install the recliner motor to the seat frame.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the recliner motor screws (1) to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  5. Install the seat cover (1) on to the seat bottom.

    6. Object Number: 1260911 Size: SH
  6. Connect all J channel retainers (1).
  7. Install the seat into the vehicle. Refer to Rear Number 2 Folding Seat Replacement .
