Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the body side trim panel. Refer to Auxiliary HVAC Module Replacement.
  2. Remove the fasteners securing the HVAC module.
  3. Slide the HVAC module over to gain access to the amplifier.

    4. Do not remove the HVAC module.

  4. Remove the fasteners securing the amplifier bracket to the vehicle.

    5. Object Number: 1211147 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1).

    6. Object Number: 1211150 Size: SH
  6. Remove the amplifier from the bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1211150 Size: SH
  1. Install the amplifier to the bracket.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connectors (1).

    3. Object Number: 1211151 Size: SH
  3. Install the amplifier bracket to the vehicle.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the HVAC module.
  5. Install the body side trim panel. Refer to Auxiliary HVAC Module Replacement.
  6. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
