This bulletin is being issued to revise the Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement procedure in the Front Suspension sub-section of the Service Manual. Please replace the current information in the Service Manual with the following information.
The following information has been updated within SI. If you are using a paper version of this Service Manual, please make a reference to this bulletin on the affected page.
Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement
Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to  Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
 
- Remove the tires and wheels. Refer to  Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
 
- Remove stabilizer shaft link to stabilizer shaft retaining nut.
 
- Separate the stabilizer shaft link from the stabilizer shaft.
 
- Remove the stabilizer shaft bracket mounting bolts.
 
- Remove the stabilizer shaft bracket.
 
- Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator.
 
Installation Procedure
- Install the stabilizer shaft left hand insulator to the stabilizer shaft with the slit facing rearward and the right hand insulator to the stabilizer shaft with the slit facing forward.
 
- Install the stabilizer shaft bracket.
 
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the stabilizer shaft bracket mounting bolts.
 
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 110 N·m (81 lb ft).
- Install the stabilizer shaft link to the stabilizer shaft.
 
- Install stabilizer shaft link to stabilizer shaft retaining nut.
 
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 115 N·m (95 lb ft).
- Install the tires and wheels. Refer to  Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
 
- Lower the vehicle.
