Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2007 🢒 STS 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.4L 🢒 Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the left exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Left Side .
  3. Install a screw jack with a block of wood under the oil pan for support.

    4. Object Number: 888298 Size: SH
  4. Remove the upper engine mount retaining nut.

    5. Object Number: 888296 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure not to distort or bend the engine mount heat shield.

  5. Remove the left engine mount bracket retaining bolts.
  6. Remove the left engine mount bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 888296 Size: SH
  1. Install the left engine mount brackets.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the left engine mount bracket retaining bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).


    Object Number: 888298 Size: SH
  3. Install the upper engine mount retaining nut.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).

  4. Remove the screw jack.
  5. Install the left exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Left Side .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
