Removal Procedure
- Apply 2 layers of masking tape on the windshield next to the reveal molding being serviced.
- Remove the screws from the reveal molding.
- If the molding is bent or damaged, replace the molding.
Installation Procedure
- If the windshield reveal molding retainer clips are bent or damaged, replace the clips.
- Align the top end of the reveal molding to the end cap tongue inside the opening of the roof rail.
- Install the reveal molding downward and align the reveal molding with the screw holes.
- Install the reveal molding screws.
- Remove the masking tape.
- Clean the tape residue from the windshield.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten all of the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
