1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position .
2. Place the interior lamp switch in the OFF position.
3. Close all doors.

All courtesy lamps are off.

Note that the battery rundown protection feature will turn off any lights that have left on for 10 minutes, so the courtesy lamps may not always be on.

1. Place the interior lamp switch in the AUTO position.
2. Cover the ambient light sensor.
3. Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter.

All courtesy lamps light for approximately 40 seconds. The courtesy lamps will immediately turn off if any of the following occur:

Open and close each door one at a time.

The front and rear courtesy lamps (foot well, door courtesy, and overhead courtesy) light while the door is open and then stay on for approximately 25 seconds after all doors are closed. The front and rear courtesy lamps will immediately turn off if any of the following occur:

Place the interior lamp switch in the ON position.

All courtesy lamps light.

1. Place the interior lamp switch in the AUTO position.
2. Place each reading lamp switch to the ON position one at a time.

Each reading lamp lights.

1. Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position.
2. Open the rear compartment lid.

The rear compartment lamp lights.

1. Close the rear compartment lid.
2. Open each vanity mirror cover one at a time.

Each vanity lamp lights.

Vanity Mirror Lamp Inoperative

1. Close both vanity mirror covers.
2. Open the IP compartment.

The IP compartment lamp lights.
