Inside Air Temperature Sensor Replacement LHD

1. Remove the left instrument panel end cap (1).



2. Remove the side window defroster duct (1).
3. Remove the headlamp switch. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement in Lighting Systems.



4. Remove the sensor retaining fastener (2).
5. Remove the inside air temperature sensor (2).
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from sensor.

1. Connect the electrical connector to sensor.
2. Install the inside air temperature sensor (1) to the vehicle.
3. Install the sensor retaining fastener (2).
4. Install the headlamp switch replacement. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement in Lighting Systems.



5. Install the side window defroster duct (1).



6. Install the left instrument panel end cap (1).

Inside Air Temperature Sensor Replacement RHD

1. Remove the IP carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
2. Remove the inside air temperature sensor retaining fastener (1).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the inside air temperature sensors.
4. Remove the inside air temperature sensor (1).

1. Install the inside air temperature sensor (1).
2. Connect the electrical connector to the inside air temperature sensor.
3. Install the inside air temperature retaining fastener (2).
4. Install the IP carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
