Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 280274 Size: SH
  1. Remove the HVAC control assembly. Refer to Control Assembly Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 280273 Size: SH
  2. Use the following procedure in order to remove the lamp bulb and the socket:
    3. 2.1. Turn the lamp bulb and the socket counter-clockwise 1/4 turn.

    The bulbs are located behind the heater control, at the top edge of the assembly.

    2.2. Gently lift the lamp bulb and the socket out of the HVAC control assembly.
  3. Ensure that the HVAC control assembly lamp connections are free from the following conditions:
    4. • Corrosion
    • Damage
  4. Clean or replace the connections, as necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 280273 Size: SH
  1. Insert the new lamp bulb and the socket into the HVAC control assembly.
  2. Secure the new lamp bulb and the socket to the HVAC control assembly by turning the bulb clockwise 1/4 turn.

    3. Object Number: 280274 Size: SH
  3. Install the HVAC control assembly. Refer to Control Assembly Replacement .
