Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 586374 Size: SH
  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
  2. Use a standard valve core tool in order to remove the valve core (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 586374 Size: SH
  1. Use a standard valve core tool in order to install a new valve core (2).
  2. Connect the negative battery cable.
  3. Inspect for leaks.
    4. 3.1. Turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds.
    3.2. Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
    3.3. Turn ON the ignition for 2  seconds.
    3.4. Inspect for fuel leaks.
  4. Install the fuel pressure connection valve cap (3).
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
