- Disconnect the fuel pump and sender connector.
- Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
- Connect 1 red lead of J 33431-C
to CKT 1589 (PPL/WHT) cavity B at the fuel
pump and sender and the other lead to ground.
- Set the resistance dials to 40ohms.
Does the fuel gauge indicate full?

- Place the ignition switch in the LOCK position.
- Disconnect the VCM BLUE C1 connector.
- Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
- Connect a fused jumper from CKT 30 (PPL) cavity 9
at the VCM BLUE connector to ground.
Does the fuel gauge indicate full?

| Replace the fuel level sender. Refer to

- Disconnect the instrument cluster.
- Use a J 39200
in order to test CKT 30 (PPL) for resistance between the VCM BLUE C1 connector
cavity 9 and the cluster connector cavity B2.
