Was the Garage Door Opener System Check performed?

Check courtesy fuse 3 at the I/P fuse block.

Is the fuse functional?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step  3

Locate source of overload and replace courtesy fuse 3 at the I/P fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Garage Door Opener System Check

--

1. Remove the garage door opener module. Refer to Garage Door Opener Module Replacement .
2. Disconnect and check C1 and C2 for loose and/or improperly seated terminals.
3. Reconnect C1 and C2 and check for proper retention of locking tab.

Does C1 and/or C2 have loose, improperly seated terminals or poor retention of the locking tab?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step  6

1. Repair the damaged terminal(s) as necessary. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
2. Repair or replace connector as necessary.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Garage Door Opener System Check

--

1. Disconnect connector C2.
2. Check for continuity on CKT 40 (ORN) from console to I/P fuse block.

Is there continuity?

--

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Locate and repair open in CKT 40 (ORN) between console and I/P fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Garage Door Opener System Check

--

1. Disconnect connector C1.
2. Check continuity on CKT 1382 (PPL/WHT) from the console to I/P.

Is there continuity?

--

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 9

Locate and repair open in CKT 1382 (PPL/WHT) between console and I/P.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Garage Door Opener System Check

--

Check continuity on CKT 1350 (BLK) from console to G400.

Is the wire functional?

--

Go to Step 12

Go to Step 11

Locate and repair open in CKT 1350 (BLK) between console and G400.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Garage Door Opener System Check

--

Replace the Garage Door Opener module. Refer to Garage Door Opener Module Replacement .
