Revised Engine Replacement Procedure

This bulletin is being revised to update information on the engine replacement procedure as indicated below. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 56-61-02 (Section 6 -- Engine Mechanical).

This bulletin is being issued to revise the Engine Replacement procedure in the Engine Mechanical subsection of the 1995-98 M/L Service Manuals.

Important:

•	The Twin Post Hoist Assembly Support Bar, J 41617, is not available.

•	This procedure must be performed on a side lift hoist. The engine and front frame assembly will be removed out of the bottom of the vehicle. Do not use a single post hoist or a twin post hoist in order to perform this procedure.

Please make the following revisions:

•	Remove tool J 41617 Twin Post Hoist Frame Assembly Support Bar from the Tools Required list at the beginning of the procedure.

•	Remove the information under the title Twin Post Hoist.

•	Remove the Twin Post Hoist figure.
