Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 1999 🢒 Astro - 4WD 🢒 Steering 🢒 Steering Wheel and Column - Standard 🢒 Steering Shaft, Lower Bearing, and Jacket - Disassemble - Off Vehicle
  1. Remove the electronic lock module assembly. Refer to Electronic Column Lock Module - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .
  2. Remove the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .

    3. Object Number: 361733 Size: SH

    Important: Using excessive force in removing the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column may cause damage.

  3. Remove the automatic transmission shift lock control.
  4. Use a screwdriver to pry the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column jacket assembly.

    5. Object Number: 662202 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 3 flat head 6-lobed socket tapping screws.
  6. Remove the park lock cable assembly.

    7. Object Number: 361431 Size: SH
  7. Remove the 4 TORX® screws from the steering column housing assembly.
  8. Remove the steering column housing assembly from the steering column housing jacket.

    9. Object Number: 361735 Size: SH
  9. Remove the following parts from the steering column jacket assembly:
    10. 9.1. The steering column seal (3).
    9.2. The adapter and bearing assembly (2).
    9.3. The lower steering shaft (1).
