Rear Seat Cushion Frame Replacement YC5 and YC6

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear bench seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 502203 Size: SH
  3. Remove the seat back hinge bolts from the right and left sides of the cushion frame.

    4. Object Number: 502122 Size: SH
  4. Remove the seat cushion frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 502122 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat cushion frame.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 502203 Size: SH
  2. Install the seat back hinge bolts to the right and left sides of the seat cushion frame.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the seat back hinge bolts to the right and left sides of the seat cushion frame 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
  4. Install the rear bench seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear bench seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 502203 Size: SH

    Important: Note the position and length of the bolts removed. This will assist with reassembly.

  3. Remove the bolts retaining the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame.

    4. Important: Note the position and length of the bolts removed. This will assist with reassembly.

  4. Remove the bolts retaining the console to the seat cushion frame. Refer to Rear Seat Center Console Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 502122 Size: SH
  5. Remove the seat cushion frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 502122 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat cushion frame.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts that retain the console to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly. Refer to Rear Seat Center Console Replacement .

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts that retain the console to the seat cushion frame to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install the bolts that retain the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts that retain the seat back hinges to the bench seat cushion frame to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  4. Install the seat cushion cover and pad.
  5. Install the rear bench seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
