Sliding Side Door Squeak (Replace Lock)

Some customers may comment that the sliding side door squeaks.

This squeak may be caused by the child safety latch lever and the slot edge.

1. Check the alignment of the door. Lubricate all the guide pins and check the striker's alignment to the latch.
2. Install a new latch that has a Plastisol coating on the child safety lever. The Plastisol coating provides an insulator between the surfaces.
3. Install a new lock following SI Document ID #1279933.
