The following components can cause generator noise:
| • | A loose drive pulley |
| • | Loose mounting bolts |
| • | Worn or dirty bearings |
| • | A worn stator |
Do not disassemble the generator. Separating the frames will damage the slip ring end bearing. Generator service is limited to replacement. Refer to Generator Replacement .
