Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement 2.2 L

Removal Procedure
  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement in Engine Controls - 2.2 L.
  3. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the support.
  4. Remove the radiator inlet hose clamp from radiator.

    5. Object Number: 714100 Size: SH
  5. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
  6. Remove the radiator inlet hose clamp from the coolant outlet.

    7. Object Number: 714109 Size: SH
  7. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the coolant outlet.
  8. Remove the radiator inlet hose.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 714109 Size: SH
  1. Install the radiator inlet hose clamp to the coolant outlet.

    2. Object Number: 714100 Size: SH
  2. Install the radiator inlet hose clamp to the radiator.
  3. Install the radiator inlet hose to the support.
  4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement in Engine Controls - 2.2 L.
  6. Inspect the cooling system for leaks.

Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement 4.3 L

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.3 L.
  2. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  3. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the support.
  4. Remove the radiator inlet hose clamp from the radiator.

  5. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
  6. Remove the radiator inlet hose clamp from the coolant outlet.

    7. Object Number: 714135 Size: SH
  7. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the coolant outlet.
  8. Remove the radiator inlet hose.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 714135 Size: SH
  1. Install the radiator inlet hose to the coolant outlet.
  2. Install the radiator inlet hose clamp to the coolant outlet.

    3. Object Number: 714133 Size: SH
  3. Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
  4. Install the radiator inlet hose clamp to the radiator.
  5. Install the radiator inlet hose to the support.
  6. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.3 L.
  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  8. Inspect the cooling system for leaks.
