Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel.  Refer to 
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement 
.
 
- Disconnect the electrical connectors as needed.
 
- Remove the rubber conduit from the door and the body hinge pillar.
 
- Apply cloth-backed tape to the door and the body hinge pillar  in order
to protect the door and the body hinge pillar from scratches.
 
- Remove the lower hinge pin retainer.
 
- Remove the lower hinge pin by completing the following steps:
 
| 6.1.  | Use a pair of locking pliers in order to grasp the pin. | 
 
| 6.2.  | Use a soft-faced hammer in order to drive out the pin. | 
 
| 6.3.  | Install a bolt through the lower hinges in order to temporarily  hold
the door in place during the removal of the upper hinge. | 
 
- Remove the upper hinge pin retainer.
 
- Remove the upper hinge pin.
 
- Remove the bolt from the lower pin hole.
 
-  With an assistant remove the door from the vehicle.
 
Installation Procedure
-  With an assistant install the door to the
 vehicle.
 
- Install a bolt through the lower hinge pin holes in order to temporarily
 hold the door in place.
 
- Install the upper hinge pin with the pointed end of the pin pointing 
up.
 
- Install a new hinge pin retainer.
 
- Remove the temporary bolt from the lower hinge.
 
- Install the lower hinge pin with the pointed edge of the pin pointing
 down.
 
- Install a new hinge pin retainer.
 
- Lubricate the bushing with engine oil.
 
- Remove the tape from the door and the body hinge pillar.
 
- Install the rubber conduit to the door and the body hinge pillar.
 
- Connect the electrical connectors as needed.
 
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to
