Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2001 🢒 Blazer - 2WD (China) 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.5L (LE8) 🢒 Cylinder Head Removal - Right Side
  1. Remove the camshafts. Refer to Exhaust Camshaft Removal - Right Side and Intake Camshaft Removal - Right Side .
  2. Remove the lifters. Refer to Valve Lifter Removal - Right Side .
  3. Remove the water crossover pipe. Refer to Water Crossover Removal .

    4. Object Number: 648377 Size: SH
  4. Remove the hex bolt (1).
  5. Remove the cylinder head bolts in the proper order.
  6. Remove the cylinder heads.
  7. Clean the cylinder head mating surface.
  8. Clean the cylinder block mating surface.
  9. Clean the cylinder head bolt threads and bolts. Replace any stretched or damaged bolts.
  10. Clean the cylinder block bolt holes of all debris, threadlocker, sealant etc. Installing a bolt to a blocked bolt hole will cause incorrect torque and may cause cylinder head/block damage.
